Aloe Vera- Aloe Vera has been known for its moisturizing properties and will add moisture and volume to your hair.
Filtered Water- Purified or Filtered water to give the shampoo a liquid base. It is important to use water in its purified form as it will discourage the growth of molds and will also be chlorine-free and will be devoid of other salts that are harsh for the hair.
Castile Soap- As the shampoo needs a cleaning agent which shouldn’t be harsh like market-made shampoos, castile soap as a cleanser is the best option as it is safe not only for adults but also for kids.
Steps to make Best Tea-Tree Shampoo at home
- Take a saucepan and heat 1 tablespoon honey. Raw honey has lumps and needs to be dissolved properly to make a shampoo of uniform consistency. To mix all the ingredients with it, honey needs to be smooth and flowy. Keep the flame at the lowest.
- Add 2 tablespoons of ACV and 4 ounces of Aloe Vera gel in the pan. Keep stirring to dissolve all of them.
- Add 1 teaspoon of Castile Soap to the mixture and 3 tablespoons of distilled or purified water.
- Add 10 drops of the tea-tree essential oil
- Stir till all the ingredients are mixed properly and put it off the flame.
- Keep it aside to let it cool.
- Pour the mixture in a BPA-free plastic dispenser bottle for ease of use.
- Refrigerate the shampoo bottle as it might perish outside quickly due to zero preservatives added in it.
